The canon r5 is better than canon has been in 10 years but still a class behind the sonys. A92 a7r4 a7r3 600mm f 4 300 mm f 2 8 100 400mm 70 200mm f 2 8 etc. Sony was way ahead of both canon and nikon in developing mirrorless and appropriate lenses.
